Warangal Urban: A research scholar in the Department of Economics, Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal, and a student union leader, Gugulothu Raju Naik assured that he would strive for the establishment of a steel factory at Bayyaram and Tribal University in the State if he was elected as MLC from Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda graduate MLC constituency.
Speaking to the media at the KU campus on Sunday, Raju Naik said he filed the nomination papers on Saturday and urged graduate voters to vote for him. Referring to the proposed hike in the reservations for the Scheduled Tribes (STs) in the State, Raju Naik said that he would fight for 10 per cent reservations to the STs.
“I will strive to ensure more employment opportunities for the jobless youth. I will also strive to ensure skill development programmes for the benefit of eligible people besides helping them become entrepreneurs,” he said.
