Mancherial: Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satyanaryana assured that medical services would be provided to Maoists if they surrender before the police.

Speaking after distributing groceries to tribals in Maoist-affected Narsapur village in Thandur mandal on Sunday, Satyanaryana said that many extremists from the district and working with the prohibited outfit in Maharashtra and Chattisgarh were infected by the deadly coronavirus.

He said the police department would offer all medical services if they quit the party. He requested the villagers not to cooperate with the Maoists since they were following outdated ideologies.
