Hyderabad: Rubbishing the rumours on the social media, Station Ghanpur MLA T Rajaiah declared that there is no question of him quitting TRS in his lifetime. He asserted that he will always remain loyal to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao who was the force behind his political growth and also to people of Telangana.

Speaking at a press conference held at Telangana Bhavan here on Monday, Rajaiah condemned the reports being circulated against him alleging that he had met evangelist Anil Kumar, husband of YSR Telangana party president YS Sharmila. He clarified that a photograph taken during his meeting with Anil Kumar during a Christian community meeting held in 2019, was being used to spread the fake news that he was joining YSR Telangana party.

The TRS legislator said though former Chief Minister late YS Rajashekhar Reddy was the reason for his political debut, it was Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao who gave him numerous opportunities and helped him grow politically. “Without me asking for it, the Chief Minister made me the Deputy Chief Minister and also assigned my favourite portfolio of Medical and Health. I have grown step by step in TRS party with his blessings,” he declared.

He said the TRS President always gave priority to the Dalit leadership within the party and was now extending similar help for empowerment of the Dalits in the State through Telangana Dalit Bandhu scheme. He urged the members of the SC community to utilise the opportunity to grow in the society and also ensure their socio-economic development.
