Winter grips Telangana, minimum temperatures dip sharply
Telangana experiences a significant drop in minimum temperatures as winter sets in. Rudrangi recorded 10.2°C, while BHEL Factory, Sangareddy, registered 13.4°C. IMD predicts temperatures may remain below normal by 3–4°C over the next few days

Hyderabad: Winter has set in across Telangana and there is a considerable dip in minimum temperature in several districts since the last couple of days.
The lowest minimum temperature of 10.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Rudrangi in Rajanna Sircilla district on Monday morning. Similarly, in GHMC, the lowest temperature of 13.4 degrees Celsius was registered at BHEL Factory, Sangareddy, according to the TGDPS.
The average minimum temperature was 18.2 degrees Celsius. The lowest minimum temperature 7 degrees Celsius was recorded at Moinabad in Rangareddy on November 20, 2016, it said.
In its forecast, the India Meteorological department said the minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 3 to 4 degrees at isolated places in Telangana during the next two to three days.
Meanwhile, weather tracker from Hyderabad, T Balaji (Telanganaweatherman on X) asked people to gear up for strong November winters for about eight to 10 days, starting November 11.
