Woman advocate injured in attack by colleague in Hyderabad
The victim, identified as Prasanna, and Srinivas Yadav, also an advocate, reportedly have affiliations to two different political parties and were reportedly having an argument on their social media handles for the last few days.
Hyderabad: A woman advocate was injured, allegedly in an attack by a fellow advocate at the local court premises in Neredmet here on Wednesday afternoon. Previous enmity led to the attack, police said.
The victim, identified as Prasanna, and Srinivas Yadav, also an advocate, reportedly have affiliations to two different political parties and were reportedly having an argument on their social media handles for the last few days. Police said that on Wednesday afternoon, after attending a court session, Srinivas Yadav allegedly picked up an argument with Prasanna, who earlier contested as a corporator.
Following a heated argument, Srinivas beat Prasanna, resulting in injuries to her face and head.The Neredmet police are investigating.
