Woman ASI alleged harassment at work, attempts suicide in police station in Medak
Woman ASI Sudharani (45) allegedly attempted to die by suicide by hanging herself on the premises of Chilpiched police station on Wednesday evening.
Medak: A woman ASI allegedly attempted to die by suicide by hanging herself on the premises of Chilpiched police station on Wednesday evening. However, her colleagues rescued her and shifted her to a local hospital.
Sudharani (45) said the SI was harassing her by assigning duties continuously for three consecutive days.
She further alleged that the SI ill-treated her since his appointment here. Sudharani also alleged that the SI threatened her with serious consequences unless she followed his directions.
Sudharani is currently undergoing treatment, with her condition stated to be stable.
