Woman, bike taxi rider killed as lorry rams motorcycle in Suraram
Two persons, including a bike taxi rider, were killed on the spot when a speeding lorry rammed their motorcycle near Jyothi Milk Industry in Suraram on Monday. The Suraram police registered a case, shifted the bodies for autopsy and launched a search for the absconding driver.

Hyderabad: In a tragic road accident, a woman and a bike taxi driver were killed after a speeding truck rammed their two-wheeler near Jyothi Milk Company in Suraram on Monday morning.
The victim, Jyothi (32), a resident of Venkataram Nagar, was heading to her vegetable shop located opposite Jyothi Milk Company. She had booked a bike taxi ride after her husband left for Shapur Nagar market to purchase vegetables for their shop.
According to Suraram police, as the Rapido bike approached the milk company, a truck coming from behind lost control and crashed into the bike. Both Jyothi and the Rapido rider, identified as K Surender Reddy (45) of Saibaba Nagar in Pandu Basti, suffered fatal injuries and died on the spot.
The Suraram police shifted the bodies to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy and are investigating the case.
