Sangareddy: Two people, including a 4-year-old, died in a road accident near Gummadidala on Sunday evening. The victims were identified as Kalpana (25) and Kruthika (4). According to Gummadidala Police, Brahma Chary, a resident of Gummadidala, was heading towards Gummadidala on his two-wheeler with his wife and two children after attending a function at IDA Bollaram. Police said that Chary, who was in an inebriated condition, hit a road divider at Domadugu initially. But, the family escaped with minor injuries. After taking first aid, they again proceeded towards Gummadidala. They met with a similar accident a few minutes later. While Chary and his son Karthik sustained serious injuries, Kalpana and Kruithika died on the spot. The Gummadidala police registered a case and the bodies were shifted to Area Hospital Patancheru for postmortem.
