Woman dies, daughter injured as husband attacks them before attempting suicide in Siddipet
A man allegedly killed his wife after suspecting her fidelity and attacked his daughter before attempting suicide at Adarsh Nagar colony in Siddipet. The woman died on the spot, while the daughter and accused were hospitalised.
Siddipet: Suspecting his wife’s fidelity, a man killed his wife and later attacked his daughter before seriously injuring himself at Adarsh Nagar colony in Siddipet late on Sunday night.
The incident came to light on Monday morning. Yellaiah reportedly stabbed his wife Srilatha (40) multiple times with a knife, causing grevious injuries. She died on the spot after bleeding profusely.
Later, he attacked their daughter Archana with a pestle. She sustained serious injuries. Yellaiah also attempted suicide by slitting his throat. Archana and Yellaiah were shifted to Siddipet government hospital by locals. The police registered a case and the probe was on.
