Hyderabad: A female masseur died under suspicious circumstances at her flat in Kokatpet under Narsingi police station on Monday night.
According to the police, the woman Rosie alias Lalbi (23) who worked with a spa went into the washroom of her flat carrying some material and was later found unconscious by her friend Lunso.
“Lunso told us that Rosie got a parcel from some person in the evening and carried it to the washroom. Later, she did not open the door and on checking, Rosie was found lying unconscious in the washroom,” said Narsingi police.
The woman was rushed by her friends to a hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. On a complaint the police booked a case and are investigating. The body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital where an autopsy was performed.
The police seized the mobile phone of Rosie and also the contents of the parcel she received and are sending it to Forensic Science Laboratory for examination.
Having found a syringe in the room, the police are also investigating the possibilities of the victim having injected herself with some unknown substance to end her life.
