Hyderabad: A woman died after a wall collapsed on her at Nadergul in Adibatla on Friday night. The wall is suspected to have become weak after getting drenched in heavy rain. The deceased woman, whose identity was immediately not known, was staying at a house allotted for the watchman.

Meanwhile, the Hyderabad City Mayor has appealed to citizens to keep elderly people and children away from water-logged roads or drains. Residents were also requested not to open manholes and to contact either the GHMC helpline or HYDRAA helpline at 90001 13667, in case of emergencies.
