Woman electrocuted in Warangal’s Wardhannapet

A 45-year-old woman, Oora Sammakka, died after suffering an electric shock while hanging clothes at her residence in Yellanda village of Wardhannapet mandal. She was rushed to hospital but was declared dead on arrival

Warangal: A 45-year-old woman lost her life due to an electric shock at her residence in Yellanda village of Wardhannapet mandal in the district on Monday.

The incident took place when the deceased, Oora Sammakka, was hanging a towel on a clothesline. She suffered a severe electric shock as electric current was flowing through the line and fell unconscious.

Her family members immediately rushed her to the Government Hospital at Wardhannapet. Doctors at the hospital confirmed that she had already died by the time she arrived.
