Woman farmer dies in road accident in Siddipet

A 55-year-old woman farmer was killed and her husband seriously injured after another two-wheeler allegedly hit their vehicle while they were taking a U-turn near Timmakkapally village in Siddipet. Raipole police registered a case and are investigating the accident

Siddipet: A woman farmer was killed and her husband sustained serious injuries in a road accident at Timmakkapally village on Sunday.

The farmer couple, Udidi Rama Swamy and his wife Amrutha (55), were returning home on a two-wheeler when another two-wheeler allegedly hit their vehicle while they were taking a U-turn on the Gajwel-Ramayampet road.

Both sustained serious injuries in the accident. Amrutha died while being shifted to a hospital, while Swamy is undergoing treatment and is stated to be in a critical condition.

Raipole police registered a case and are investigating the incident.
