Hyderabad: The body of a young woman was found on the railway tracks at Lingampally on Saturday morning.
The body of the woman, aged around 25 years, clad in a pink kurta and blue pyjamas, was found with her head severed on the railway tracks near Lingampally railway station by local people, who alerted the railway police.
On information, the GRP Secunderabad police reached the spot and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital mortuary. A case was registered and efforts are on to identify the woman.
Police suspect that the woman might have died by suicide on the railway tracks. However, they are probing the case from all angles.
