Woman from Telangana found hanging in house in Dubai

According to sources, Yennamaneni Supriya (35), from Jagtial was found hanging from the ceiling fan at her house in the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai: A 35-year-old woman from Jagtial was found hanging from the ceiling fan at her house in the United Arab Emirates, according to family sources.

Sources said the woman, identified as Yennamaneni Supriya, a native of Kathlapur mandal in Jagtial district, died, allegedly by suicide, at her apartment in the posh Jumeriah Village Circle in Dubai.

The mother of two was living in Dubai for over a decade. On Monday, she had prepared her children for school and also cooked lunch for them and her husband and gave them their lunch boxes. She is suspected to have hanged herself to death after they left. Her relatives have rushed to Dubai. The police launched an investigation.

Supriya had participated in the recently conducted Bathukamma festival in Dubai, the family sources said, adding that the reasons for the extreme step were not yet known.
