Hyderabad: A woman was gang raped by four persons in a hospital room near the bus station in Nizamabad town on Wednesday.
The culprits committed the crime after forcing her to drink liquor. Nizamabad Deputy Commissioner of Police Arvind Kumar said they could not collect more details since the victim was still in an unconscious state.
The victim is presently undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
With the help of surveillance cameras installed near the bus station, the police are trying to identify the people involved in the case. “We will be able to collect more details about the accused once we record her statement after she gains consciousness,” another police official said.
