Woman harassed through fake Instagram account in Film Nagar

Hyderabad: Film Nagar police have registered a case against an unidentified person for creating a fake Instagram account in a woman’s name and posting obscene content, thereby harassing her.

According to the complaint, the suspects allegedly used the woman’s phone number and personal photographs to create the fake account and uploaded posts falsely claiming that she offered sexual services.

The woman approached the Film Nagar police, stating that the posts had damaged her reputation and brought her disrepute.

She requested the police to identify the person responsible, take action against the perpetrators and ensure the removal of the fake Instagram account. The case is under investigation.
