Hyderabad: Seelam Saraswathi, a 50-year-old woman delegate from Goshamahal Assembly constituency caught everyone’s attention at the TRS plenary session in Hitex on Monday for her attire.
From ear studs to the cap she wore, from her wrist watch to the scarf around her neck and even her dark glasses, Saraswati had photographs of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and TRS working president KT Rama Rao pasted on them, “I have been associated with the party for the past 10 years and have taken part in all party activities,” a jubilant Saraswathi told Telangana Today.
In coordination with other leaders, she was striving to strengthen the party though the Goshamahal Assembly constituency that is now represented by the BJP, she said, adding: “It’s a great moment for us to be part of the 20 years of the party formation celebrations.” She vowed that party leaders from Goshamahal will leave no stone unturned to win the Goshamahal Assembly seat in the next elections.
