Hyderabad: A 20-year-old woman allegedly jumped to her death from the sixth floor of a building near the Secunderabad Clock Tower on Thursday.
According to the police, G Sushmita (20) worked with Tech Mahindra and had joined as a trainee a month ago.
“On Thursday morning her father Govindraj dropped her at office around 9.30 am and returned home. At 10.15 am, the family got a call from her office saying Sushmita had fallen from the building and sustained injuries.
“By the time we rushed to the office, the body was shifted to the mortuary,” Sushmita’s mother Susheela told reporters at the Osmania General Hospital morgue, adding that police had told her that Sushmita had gone to the washroom and was suspected to have jumped from the balcony near there.
