Woman killed as construction material collapses in Kumram Bheem Asifabad
A 45-year-old woman died instantly after iron column boxes and scaffolding collapsed on her at a house construction site in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district. The incident occurred during unseasonal rains and strong winds on Tuesday evening.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A 45-year-old woman died on the spot when iron column boxes and scaffolding used for constructing an Indiramma house collapsed on her at Korsini village in Chintalamanepalli mandal on Tuesday evening.
Police said Sidam Suguna, a widow from the village, sustained serious head injuries leading to profuse bleeding when the boxes fell on her. She died instantly.
Unseasonal rains coupled with gusty winds claimed the life of the woman. Suguna was doing some work at the time of the incident.
