Woman killed in road accident in Hyderabad

The victim fell and came under the rear tyre of the bus

Hyderabad: A woman, who was returning from shopping along with her brother, died in a road accident at Petbasheerabad on Saturday night.

Sinduja (23), who was pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) course at a private college in Petbasheerabad, went along with her brother Sai Ram for shopping and purchasing ‘rakhi’ material near a private college in the evening.

“After making purchases the two were returning on the motorcycle when Sai Ram, who was driving the bike, collided with a bus and both of them had fallen on the road. The victim fell and came under the rear tyre of the bus. Death was instantaneous for her, while her brother fell down on the roadside and sustained injuries,” said the Petbasheerabad police. A case was registered by the police and investigation is under way.
