According to the police, Anji used to come home in an inebriated condition and create a nuisance regularly. Due to this, Radha was fed up and planned to kill her husband

Hyderabad: A woman had allegedly killed her husband at Nizampet and tried to cover it up as death due to natural causes. The incident which happened last month came to light only on Saturday.

The victim, Anji, was a native of Narayanpet and married Radha in 2014, and the couple had two children. According to the police, Anji used to come home in an inebriated condition and create a nuisance regularly. Due to this, Radha was fed up and planned to kill her husband.


“On June 22, when Anji came home in an inebriated condition, Radha strangled him to death. She later informed relatives that Anji suffered a cardiac arrest and died,” said the police.

The body was shifted to Anji’s native, and during preparations for the funeral, the deceased’s relatives noticed injuries on the body and informed the local police. A case was registered in Narayanpet, and a zero FIR was transferred to the Bachupally police station for further investigation. The police arrested the woman.
