Hyderabad: A woman killed her baby by throttling her neck at Mangalhat on Tuesday night.
According to the police, Laxmi (29), lived near Seetharambagh temple and is a rag picker.
On Tuesday night in an inebriated condition, she hit her daughter aged one year repeatedly and later throttled her neck.
“The woman told us the baby was crying loudly so she hit her. The woman was in inebriated conditon,” said the Mangalhath police.
A case is booked and the body shifted to mortuary. The woman is taken into custody.
