A young married woman left her home with her three-year-old daughter following a dispute with her husband over buying a smartphone in Ghatkesar near Hyderabad. After she failed to return, her husband lodged a complaint and police registered a missing case
Hyderabad: A young married woman left her house along with her three-year-old daughter allegedly following a domestic dispute with her husband over buying a smartphone in Ghatkesar.
The incident took place in Lingalakunta on Wednesday when the woman, V Soni, had reportedly been asking her husband, Suresh, to buy her a smartphone for the past several days. When he did not fulfil her request, she is said to have become upset.
Soni left the house taking her minor daughter with her and did not return. Family members searched for her in the surrounding areas but were unable to locate her.
Concerned over her disappearance, Suresh lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday night.
Based on the complaint, the Ghatkesar police booked a missing case and efforts are on to trace the woman and the child at the earliest.
