Woman loses 20 tolas of gold in bus journey from Ananthapur to Hyderabad
A woman travelling from Ananthapur to Hyderabad reported the loss of 20 tolas of gold ornaments after reaching the Central Bus Station. Afzalgunj police have registered a case and launched an investigation, suspecting theft during transit.
Hyderabad: A woman lost 20 tolas of gold while travelling in a bus from Ananthapur to Hyderabad on Sunday.
Keerthana had boarded a bus at Ananthapur and reached the city early on Monday. After getting down from the bus at Central Bus Station, she checked the bags and found 20 tolas of the gold ornaments missing.
The woman approached the Afzalgunj police, who registered a case and started an investigation. The police suspect some persons might have stolen the gold during the transit.
