Woman posing as doctor robs patient of gold at Secunderabad hospital
A woman posing as a doctor allegedly injected a patient and stole gold ornaments weighing around 10 tolas at a corporate hospital in Secunderabad. The victim was found unconscious by relatives. Police have registered a case and are analysing CCTV footage.

Hyderabad: A con woman posing as a doctor robbed gold ornaments from a woman patient after administering an injection to her at a corporate hospital in Secunderabad on Wednesday.
According to the police, the victim, Sudha Rani, who was recently admitted to the hospital for treatment, was being discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. While she was waiting to be discharged, a woman wearing a doctor’s apron came to her and asked the relatives to go away as she had to administer an injection. A little later, the woman left the room.
“The relatives of Sudha Rani went inside the room and found she was in an unconscious state and gold ornaments weighing around 10 tolas missing. A case is registered,” said an official of Monda Market police station.
The police are verifying the footage of the closed-circuit cameras and trying to identify the con woman. The police are checking their records to check the persons who used a similar modus operandi to rob the patients in hospital.
