Woman rescued after leg gets stuck in vehicle scanner at Telangana Secretariat

A woman employee at the Telangana Secretariat was rescued after her leg got trapped under a vehicle scanning system at the east gate on Wednesday evening. She slipped while exiting the building, leading to tense moments.

Hyderabad: Tense moments were witnessed at Telangana Secretariat on Wednesday evening when a woman’s leg got stuck under a vehicle scanning system.

The woman, who is an employee of the Secretariat, was exiting the building on foot when she slipped and her leg got stuck under the vehicle scanning system at the Secretariat’s east gate.

The Special Protection Force personnel who guard the building immediately broke the metal structure and pulled out the woman safely. As a precautionary measure an ambulance arrived at the spot. The police heaved a sigh of relief after the woman’s leg was pulled out and she was safely moved away.

 

TGSRTC driver attacked over overtaking row

 

Rajanna-Sircilla: A TGSRTC driver, Balaraju, was allegedly assaulted by a youngster who accused him of not giving way for his car to pass in Vallampatla of Ellanthakunta mandal on Wednesday.

The youngster reportedly stopped the bus by blocking it with his car, then entered the bus and assaulted the driver for not allowing him to overtake. Passengers tried to intervene and questioned his behaviour, but he went ahead and kicked the driver after stepping into the cabin. Balaraju lodged a complaint with Ellanthakunta police, based on which a case was registered. Investigation is underway.
