Woman sets herself ablaze in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A woman committed suicide after setting herself ablaze at Mailardevpally due to family issues, the police said.

M Vani lived along with her family at Uddamgadda under Mailardevpally police station limits. On Friday night, she reportedly was scolded by her husband during a quarrel over some family related issues. “Angry after being scolded by her husband, Vani doused herself with turpentine oil and set herself ablaze. She was rushed to Osmania General Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment early on Sunday,” the police said. A case was booked and investigation was on.
