Woman SI commits suicide in police training college in Vizianagaram
Bhavani, who was working as SI at Sakhinetipalli in East Godavari district, came here five days ago for training. The training was over on Saturday afternoon and she was scheduled to leave on Sunday.
Vizianagaram: A woman Sub-Inspector of Police K. Bhavani, 25, committed suicide on Saturday after midnight, by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at the police training college (PTC) quarters here.
Bhavani, who was working as SI at Sakhinetipalli in East Godavari district, came here five days ago for training. The training was over on Saturday afternoon and she was scheduled to leave on Sunday.
A native of Salempalem of Koduru mandal in Krishna district, Bhavani last spoke to her brother in Visakhapatnam, informing him that the training was completed. The reasons for suicide are not known yet, Deputy Superintendent of Police P. Anil Kumar said. Investigation is on..
