Peddapalli: An estranged woman was stabbed to death by her husband, who suspected her of having an extra-marital relation in Thenuguvada on Monday morning.

Police said the woman, Sandhya, aged around 28 years was living separately in a rented house.

On Saturday morning, her husband, Ganesh came to her house and began arguing with her on some issue. As the argument continued, he pulled out a knife and attacked and killed her on the spot.

Ganesh fled the spot as a profusely bleeding Sandhya breathed her last. Ganesh was alleged to have suspected that she had an extra marital affair. Investigation is in progress.
