Woman, three kids drown in pond in Telangana’s Kamareddy

Kamareddy: A woman and her three children drowned in a pond in the Venkatapur mandal of Yellareddy mandal on Sunday morning.

As they walked into the deeper stretch of the water body, Mounika found them drowning. In a desperate attempt to save them, she too, entered the water, but tragically, she and her children drowned.
The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the village, casting a shadow on the Ugadi celebrations.
