Hyderabad: The body of a woman bearing multiple injuries was found near Hitec City railway station on Monday afternoon.

According to the police, the body of the woman, aged around 35 years, was found in an abandoned police outpost located near the Hitec City railway station by some persons who alerted the police, who shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital mortuary.

“We suspect that she was killed and the body dumped at the spot. The autopsy report will reveal whether there was sexual assault,” Madhapur Inspector P Ravindra Prasad said.

Police are verifying footage from CCTV cameras in the vicinity for clues.
