Women should march ahead with courage and self-confidence: Kavitha

Addressing the students at the event, Kavitha said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was giving more priority to the education of women

Hyderabad: MLC K Kavitha said self-confidence was the only weapon for the women. She participated in the International Women’s Day celebrations at Social Welfare Women’s College in Ghatkesar on Saturday.

Addressing the students at the event, Kavitha said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was giving more priority to the education of women and WE Hub, a start-up incubator, was started exclusively for women entrepreneurs.

Women should move ahead with courage and self-confidence and the confidence levels would increase among the women only through education, she said. For the education of the girls, the State government has established Social Welfare and Gurukul institutions apart from giving financial assistance to those intending to study in foreign universities, she added. Kavitha said a short film would be made to create awareness and eradicate atrocities on women.
