Khammam: SUDA Chairman Bacchu Vijay Kumar has asked corporators and TRS division presidents to extend cooperation to the ongoing Covid vaccination and fever survey in Khammam.

He along with Mayor P Neeraja and corporators visited several municipal divisions here on Friday to monitor the Covid mega vaccination drive undertaken by the health department.

Speaking on the occasion he said for the success of the vaccination drive and the door-to-door fever survey the TRS corporators and division presidents should visit the households in their respective areas to educate the citizens.

The State government has made arrangements for providing home isolation kits to those who showed Covid-19 symptoms during the survey. Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar also wanted the TRS elected members and workers to lend their hand in containing the spread of Covid, Vijay Kumar.

Meanwhile, District Collector VP Gautham visited Jamalapuram in Yerrupalem mandal in the district and monitored the process of door-to-door fever survey. He interacted with the locals and advised them to take two doses of the Covid vaccine.
