Worker dies after getting trapped in machine at Cherlapally factory
A 42-year-old worker died after getting trapped in a CNC laser machine at an iron fabrication company in Cherlapally, Hyderabad. Police shifted the body for postmortem examination, registered a case and launched an investigation into the industrial accident
Hyderabad: A 42-year-old worker died after getting trapped in a machine at an iron fabrication company in Cherlapally on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Battula Suresh Babu (42), a local resident.
According to police, the incident occurred at Sudarshan Iron Fabrications Company, where Suresh Babu was working near a moulding CNC laser machine. He accidentally got trapped in the machine and sustained severe injuries, resulting in his death on the spot.
On receiving information, Cherlapally police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to a government hospital for postmortem examination.
Police registered a case and launched an investigation.
