Works on three lake bunds in Dubbak to begin with newly sanctioned funds

Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy said the government released Rs 15 crore in pending funds for Dubbak, including allocations for ward development, drainage works and three lake bunds. He also distributed 141 CMRF cheques and announced Rs 4 crore for road works

Siddipet: Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy said works on the bunds of Ramasamudram, Pedda Cheruvu and Yedulla Cheruvu would begin with the recently sanctioned government funds. He said the municipal administration department had released Rs 15 crore in pending funds to Dubbak municipality, adding that Rs 50 lakh would be spent on development works in each of the 20 wards and the remaining Rs 5 crore would be utilised for the three lake bunds located around the town.

Addressing a gathering after distributing 141 CMRF cheques to beneficiaries in Siddipet on Saturday, Prabhakar Reddy said ward level drainage works would also be taken up with these allocations. He said the government had sanctioned Rs 4 crore for works from Dharmajipet to Cheruvapur.
