Peddapalli: National Thermal Power Corporation-Ramagundam organised a two-day online training programme on “Reservation Policy” on Monday and Tuesday, wherein employees and office bearers of SC/ST Association participated in large numbers.
Resource person of the occasion, C C Unnikrishnan, Retired Deputy Secretary, Government of India, spoke in detail on the constitutional provisions pertaining to the reservation, its objective, implication, and latest amendments.
He also underlined the importance of awareness on reservation policy to achieve social justice as intended in the Indian Constitution. Besides sharing some case studies, Unnikrishnan replied to queries from the participants on the subject. Speaking at the closing ceremony, General Manager (Operations and Maintenance), NTPC, Soumendra Das appreciated the faculty and the participants for making the online training more interesting and insightful.
Echoing a similar view, Head of HR Vijaya Lakshmi M asked the participants to remain updated on the reservation policy and use the same in true spirit for the benefit of self and society as well.
