World Heritage Day 2025: Charminar-Chowmahalla Palace Heritage Walk organised
The staff and students from City College, JBRAC, Oxford Grammar School, SRDP, Vasavi School, Vaishnavi Architecture College and other members from civil societies also joined the walk

Hyderabad: On the occasion of World Heritage Day, a Heritage Walk was organised by Deccan Heritage Academy Trust in association with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Hyderabad Circle, Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC), JBRAC, and the Forum for a Better Hyderabad and other civil societies, here on Friday.
The walk was flagged off at Charminar by Veda Kumar Manikonda, Chairman of Deccan Heritage Academy. Among others, Prof. G.S.V.Suryanarayana Murthy, South Zone Representative, ICOMOS, India, Dr. G. Jayasree, Department of AIHC & Archaeology, Osmania University, Kotaih Vinjamuri, Deputy Superintendent, Chemist, ASI, Dr. E. Sai Krishna, Assistant Archaeologist, ASI, J. Rajeshwari, Conservationist, ASI, participated.

The participants walked through Charminar, Laad Bazar, Motigalli, Mahabub Chowk, Iqbal ud Doula Devdi, secondary entrance gate of Mecca Mazid, Jilu Khana, Qurshid Jha Bahadur Palace finally ending at Chowmahalla Palace.
