Hyderabad: Woxsen University is looking to add more facilities at its 200-acre residential campus located in Sangareddy in Telangana. The private university will be unveiling four facilities, which will include Bloomberg Finance Lab, an expansive library and a self-learning centre, mega sports arena and a high-tech academic block.
The four new-age additions will be formally inaugurated next week. “These centres will provide global standards and quality learning experience for the students,” said Vishal Khurma, CEO, Woxsen University, in a press release.
B-School turned private university Woxsen was established in 2014. The Bloomberg Finance Lab with 20 Bloomberg terminals will be amongst the largest in India. The lab’s integrated programmes provide a gateway to real-time learning and practice on global financial markets.
The library and self-learning facility will be built on 70,000 sq ft and will be fully digitised and automated providing students access to over 15,000 books, journals and 33,000+ online resources. The academic block spans over 75,000 sq ft and houses the latest labs and studios along with contemporary lecture theatres and classrooms, the press release added.
