Hyderabad: Woxsen University announced the launch of its Behavioural Research Hub, a first-of-its-kind initiative to advance consumer experience technologies for airports and airlines across the Middle East.
The hub will leverage anonymized data from 2.3 million passenger profiles to train AI models capable of predicting spending habits with 89 per cent accuracy, aiming to boost retail conversion rates by 35 per cent and customer satisfaction by 40 per cent.
These core innovations redefine passenger analytics and airport optimization. IoT-enabled passenger analytics leverage advanced sensors and anonymized facial recognition to track foot traffic patterns, helping identify high-value engagement zones for strategic retail and service placement.
Ethical AI frameworks ensure privacy-compliant data processing while generating hyperlocal insights, such as prayer-time shopping surges and family-group spending trends, allowing for tailored operational decisions. Scalable deployment is achieved through a modular architecture that seamlessly integrates with existing airport systems, regardless of size or location, enabling flexible and efficient implementation across diverse infrastructures, a press release said.
