Hyderabad: A wreath laying ceremony was organised at the Veerula Sainik Smarak at Gen KV Krishna Rao Parade Ground, Secunderabad, as part of Independence Day celebrations on Saturday.
The occasion was marked by grandeur and military precision. A contingent of officers and soldiers in resplendent ceremonial attire, adorned with medals of distinction, participated alongside a Military Band. The atmosphere resonated with pride and reverence as homage was paid to the armed forces personnel who laid down their lives for the sovereignty and security of the country.
The proceedings commenced with the laying of a wreath by the junior-most soldier, followed by veterans and senior officers of the station. The ceremony culminated with the laying of a wreath by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who paid his respects.
