Wrestling competitions draw crowds at Durgamma, Pochamma jatara in Medak

Medak: Wrestling competitions organised as part of the jathara festivities at the Durgamma and Pochamma temples attracted large crowds in Medak.
Wrestlers from across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana competed for honours in the bouts. The temple committee organises five-day annual festivities every year, beginning five days after the Holi festival. After conducting various rituals during the first three days, the temple committee organised wrestling competitions on the fourth day on Wednesday.
The competitions will continue on Thursday as well.
A large number of devotees gathered at the venue to witness the intense bouts.
