Y Setumadhav won the Open rapid prize money chess tournament at A2H Chess Academy in Hyderabad with 5.5 points, defeating Kandi Santosh Sai Karthik in the final round, while securing the top prize of Rs 4,000

Hyderabad: Y Setumadhav of K L University, Hyderabad won the Open rapid prize money chess tournament at A2H Chess Academy with 5.5 points after outwitting Kandi Santosh Sai Karthik (5) in the final round.

The winner received a cash prize of Rs 4,000 and the runner-up got Rs 3,000.
