Hyderabad: Swift response on part of the patrol vehicle staff of Mothkur police station averted agricultural fields being damaged due to a fire on Wednesday.
Police sources said a fire erupted at Mushipatla village and was slowly spreading to the nearby agricultural fields where crops were ready for harvest.
The Mothkur patrol car staff, who were patrolling the area, on noticing the fire responded swiftly and rushed to the spot to doused it. This helped avert crop damage, officials said adding that the cause of fire was being ascertained.
