Yadadri-Bhongir: Telugu film star and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna on Monday said that Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple was fast coming up as a marvelous temple due to the commitment of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the development of the shrine.
The Akhanda movie unit including Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinivas visited Yadadri and participated in special pooja at Balalayam. Temple Executive Officer N Geetha welcomed Balakrishna on his arrival at the temple. The priests offered blessings to Balakrishna with the chanting of veda mantras.
Balakrishna went around the outer praakaram (perimeter wall) of the main temple Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple on the hill.
Speaking to the media, Balakrishna said the commitment of the Chief Minister had resulted in the development of the temple with marvelous sculpture and structures. It will remain in history forever. “I have been visiting the temple since my childhood and I am a strong devotee of Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy,” he said.
Quoting a Telugu saying “Krushitho naasti durbiksham,” he said that the grace of the God was also required to achieve any success. He said he prayed to Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy for the well-being of Telugu people wherever they are.
He underlined the need to take measures to ensure that the temple does not get polluted ever. Protection of Sanathana Dharma was everyone’s responsibility, he said, adding that the unit wanted to visit the temple since it turned out to be a block-buster.
