Yadadri-Bhongir: Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple on Sunday witnessed huge rush of devotees. It took three hours for devotees to have general darshan at Balalyam and one hour time for special darshan.
Devotees returning to their native places from Sammakka-Sarakka jathra visited the Yadadri temple, with long queues seen right from early morning. There were serpentine queues at prasadam counters too on the hill shrine. Private vehicles were also not allowed on to the hill shrine by the police in view of ongoing development works at the bus bay.
Cine Hero Srikanth visits Yadari
Cine hero Srikanth also visited Yadadri and participated in Ashtothra Puja in Balalayam. Speaking to the media after seeing the renovated temple, he said that the entire place had undergone major tranformation. He showered praise on the State government for developing the temple in such a grand manner that nobody would have imagined would happen. ” I felt as if I was visiting a great pilgrim centre,” he said adding that that Yadadri has been developed on the lines of Tirumala. After reopening of renovated temple, it would shine more with the lighting and other finishing touches, he added.
