Yami Gautam off to Chandigarh to meet family

The versatile actor has been hopping from one set to another for the past seven months and has now found time to be home.

Mumbai: After keeping busy working on multiple projects simultaneously, Yami Gautam is headed Chandigarh to spend some quality time with her family. The versatile actor has been hopping from one set to another for the past seven months and has now found time to be home.

Yami recently wrapped her shooting schedule for ‘Dasvi’ in Agra. She shared a video on her Instagram page for her fans. Starring Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur, the actor will be seen playing an IPS officer in the film.


After ‘Dasvi’, the star began shooting for her next thriller titled ‘A Thursday’. Directed by Behzad Khambata, the film also stars Neha Dhupia and Dimple Kapadia.

A source revealed, “Having a packed slate for the year, Yami had a very hectic schedule for the past 7 months. She has been occupied with the shoot of multiple diverse projects. Finally, she has managed to sneak out a little time to go home and be with her family. She is really excited to have found a space in between her schedule to make a trip home and is enjoying her time with family.”

Meanwhile, her other upcoming films include ‘Bhoot Police’ with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez, and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s ‘Lapata’.
