Yashoda Hospitals completes over 1,000 robotic surgeries in a year

Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, on Thursday announced successful completion of over 1,000 major robotic surgeries in one year.

The specialities where the robotic surgeries were taken up include 434 in Gynecology and Gynec Oncology, 310 in General, GI & HPB procedures, 177 Urology surgeries, 79 Thoracic surgeries and very complex Head & Neck robotic procedures.


“The robotic surgeries were performed with utmost precision and excellent clinical outcomes. “This success will make it clear that we are standing firm and the most advanced,” said Yashoda Hospitals Managing Director, Dr G S Rao.

On the occasion, Madhapur Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Riti Raj congratulated the hospital surgeons.

“Over 1,000 complex robotic surgeries are not just a number; as they reflect best outcomes for their patients and their families. I extend my best wishes to entire team of the Yashoda Hospitals Hitec City for the achievement,” DCP Riti Raj said.
