Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals hosted the country’s largest International Conference on ‘AI in Healthcare: Revolutionizing Care & Enhancing Lives’ at its Hitec City campus here on Saturday bringing together over 1000 participants from across India and around the world.

In his keynote address, Dr. Michael D. Howell, Google Chief Clinical Officer highlighted the importance of integrating AI into clinical decision-making with transparency, accountability, and empathy for the clinician-patient relationship.

Gorukanti Ravinder Rao, Founder & Chairman of Yashoda Group of Hospitals, said, “AI is not here to replace doctors—it is here to empower them. AI-powered robots act as extensions of the human hand, filtering out tremors and responding instantly to visual feedback.”

Dr. Pavan Gorukanti, Director, Yashoda Hospitals said, “this conference reflects our aspiration to bridge global innovation with frontline healthcare challenges. AI must serve not just urban hospitals but also reach rural India.”

Dr. Chinnababu Sunkavalli, Robotic Surgical Oncologist & Clinical Director at Yashoda Hospitals Hitech City, added that surgery is where one is seeing some of the most visible, immediate impacts. D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for IT & Industries, inaugurated the International Conference.
