Apollo Hospitals, Joint MD, Dr Sangita Reddy said “All three vaccines available in India are good and everyone should take whichever is available. We have not yet finished the second wave. The new variant is more infectious, serious, and affecting younger patients.”
AIG, chairman, Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy said, “The second wave was anticipated. Under the Spanish flu, we saw this. The difference between Spanish flu and this is vaccination. If we vaccinate everyone then we may have an extremely flat third wave.”
